It wouldn’t be right to talk about this topic and not talk about a scripture that meets the needs of my audience who is the people that needs a word reguardless of the time or the situation.
James 5:16 says confess your tresspasses one to another, and pray for one another that you may be healed.
First of all confess our tresspasses one to another is great but most people can’t handle you crap or mess that you go through even leaders look straight at you and say oh you will be fine so you walk away thinking what did I do wrong?
I know my God hears me but it is wrong for me to come to you and you go around to all your friends talking about me even though i’m the flavor of your day. I love my enemies and friends but we have been friends for years and you decide to have a little fun with me and what i told you.
I took some punches but my enemies will take the rest of them cause you ain’t going to think i will take every hit and you get away with it. Oh you okay no i’m taking the best hit I can get and that is all you can say..
Yes every body goes through but if I ask you to pray for me I expect that cause no body know how many hours a day out of the week i’m praying for you and your nasty thought self. okay you fill in the rest of the blanks.
my point is. . . huh confessing up is the secret that I do the most but if i come to a leader expecting you to give me an answer why when I walk out of your office I feel crazy and like I just went though a worse storm after just coming from your office?
God hears me but where is the plan cause at times I am tired of taking hits cause you think i’m okay or everything is alright and it really is more than you thought it would be.
God I know you hear me but when is the storm going to stop and you start ordering not only my steps but my neighbors and enemies steps as well.
